Zoltan Pavel-Grosz

I was born in Budapest in 1968. My first exhibition was at the age of 17.
I am self-taught, I have been sailing through the drawing and painting studios largely on my own, and from whom
I tried to learn from whomever I could. This process has not really ended, and will probably continue to this day.
until the end of time. I am exploring the question of time in many of my paintings, and as I move forward, I am increasingly seeing that I don't need an answer.
For me, chess is one of the most complete artistic languages.
I have now succeeded in achieving an ever-widening artistic expression. In recent times
I have also been experimenting with the circular image form.

Between 1985 and 2024, 65 solo exhibitions in Budapest, Vienna, Civitella d'Agliano, Munich and Paris.
