I view photography as an act of collection. Whether it is a tree, a mountain, a city, or a passing cloud, I am driven by the desire to capture the vastness of the world and bring it onto a single sheet of paper.
My relationship with the medium began at age twelve with a Seagull 135mm camera. For an introverted child, the camera was a shield and a tool; knowing how to focus and compose an image gave me a voice and a sense of confidence. That early passion eventually led me to travel and live across the globe, always observing.
My work is a direct response to the beauty I encounter. I approach my subjects with the excitement of a wanderer picking up treasures along the path. I find deep joy in the act of seeing, and through my photography, I hope to share that interesting, beautiful perspective with the viewer.
