Mexican award-winning artist whose paintings have been widely exhibited internationally. Her works delve into themes that concern her identity and the conditions in which it is shaped. Sánchez is also inspired by the interactions between the internal world, which includes her present and her memories, and the public space. Oscillating between the figurative and the abstract, her sensorily based compositions are created in a gestural and expressive manner.
