EVIAL is a contemporary figurative painter whose work focuses on the human figure and the face.
After exploring various forms and registers, his practice has gradually converged toward the Moaï figure, approached as a universal and timeless presence.
Through this singular form, EVIAL explores emotional restraint, fragility and inner tension without imposed narrative or symbolic explanation.
His paintings seek a direct emotional impact, where color, line and material act as a language in themselves rather than a means of description.
Each work stands alone, creating a silent, frontal encounter between the viewer and the figure.

Self-taught artist.
EVIAL developed his practice through continuous studio work and an independent exploration of figurative painting.
