Krystyna Khvostyk

Krystyna Khvostyk is a Ukrainian artist born in the city of Kharkiv, Ukraine.

She study the main features and expressions of female self-identification, paying attention to the true appearance of female behavior and image, free from sociocultural influences and restrictions of society. Namely, freedom of self-expression, the dignity of the individual, the value of being a woman in the world.

She concerned that many people, because of their culture or personal conflicts, cannot be free, cannot accept their uniqueness and true self.

The interest in studying women's lives arose when she overcame her own difficulties and accepted herself, then there was a focus on others. Why are people hiding, namely girls, and what difficulties accompany their existence. It used to be her mainstay “That I'm not the only one”, but then, for me, it became like a world of “inexhaustible topics” to explore.

She inspired by the desire to reveal the true nature of women, their stories, when there are no external fears and barriers.

In 2020-2023 – graduated from the Krakow Pedagogical University at the Department of Fine Arts and Conservation of Fine Arts.
In 2022 – completed an internship at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts, Faculty of Fine Arts in Milan.
•In 2017-2018 – entered the Kharkov State Academy of Design and Arts, the faculty of monumental painting.
In 2013-2017 – graduated from the Kharkov Art College at the Faculty of Painting, where received a diploma with an assessment for successful achievements in painting.
In 2006-2011 – graduated from Kharkov Art College. I.E. Repina.
