Malicka Sangaret

MaliWatta is a mixed-media painter, based in both
Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire & London, England.
She works on multiple surfaces, primarily canvas, wood & paper, with peculiar recycled materials, representing the multi-faceted forms and appearances of water such as glass, mirrors and plastic.
Her work combines influences from childhood with studies of topics (sciences, occults, religions, african culture & traditions) and themes encouraging the prosperity of womanhood, cultural emergence, and eco-friendliness.
Malicka carefully combines her discovery of the element of water with exploring the complexities of the feminine and humanity with recycled materials.
