With love and fascination for the beauty encountered on this earth, it is natural that I fell into various mediums to attempt capturing nature's fleeting magnificence. Working a great deal with flowers and plants, I learned to accomplish this artistry in such impermanent ways that eventually the colors, textures, lines and forms began to draw me to the canvas. I have taught floral artistry for over three decades, so I became quite familiar with pergaments and color tools. Growing up in a home of artists founded me in basic principles and elements of design. World travel has opened my awareness to the powerful influence of culture on design, and that of design on culture. My clients have enjoyed inviting me into their homes to decorate for important events in their lives, and I have quite enjoyed trying to create something they like.
