A multidisciplinary artist/researcher and practitioner with a background in Visual Cultures, Art History, and Conservation. Experienced in academic research, exhibition production, artefact care, and public engagement. Passionate about the intersections of visual cultures, Art, architecture, materiality, identity, and storytelling through curatorial and editorial practices. Personal Work In Progress Project: Underpainting – Project Blurb Underpainting is a curatorial research project presented as a podcast, exploring the layered intersections of art, memory, identity, and material culture—particularly across Southeast Asia and Europe. Through conversations with artists, conservators, and cultural workers, the project investigates how surface and structure, repair and residue, shape both personal and collective histories. Blending oral histories, visual analysis, and curatorial reflection, Underpainting reframes preservation as both practice and poetics. If you’re an artist, conservator, or curator based in Southeast Asia or Europe, and your practice engages with cultural memory, preservation, or storytelling, I’d love to hear from you. Underpainting is always looking to feature voices involved in thoughtful, material-based cultural work.
