Anton Trofymov

Anton Trofymov was born in Kyiv in 1967.
He studied at the Kyiv National University of Theatre, Film and Television, worked as Music Video Director and Assistant Director at The National Cinematheque of the Ukraine.
In 1999, Anton moved to the United States and his creative interests shifted toward photography.
He shoots on film, using Hasselblad and Linhof cameras and print silver gelatin photographs in his own darkroom.
His photographs are in private collections and galleries in Ukraine, United States, Austria, Switzerland, Spain and Canada.
Last year one of his works was presented at the Phillips de Pury auction in London.
Anton now lives and works in New York.

1994-1998 State University of Drama and Theater, Kiev, Ukraine. Majored in Directing. Special course in Photography and Cinematography.
