I have been painting for 20 years and meditating for 30 but only recently did I fuse the two together. This dance between meditating while painting brought about a whole new style to my paintings. The new style is abstract that sometimes resembles real life. While meditating, I will often see loose images and feel emotions. My goal is to capture those feelings and images in my painting. For this reason, when I start a painting, I rarely know what I am going to paint. While I am painting, it evolves and changes into something, which is always a surprise and delight to me. When people view the finished work, they all find meaning within the painting. When they feel something, I know I have created a successful painting. He paints each stroke with emotions and his soul, making each painting spiritual and part of him. There is something unique about standing next to one of Neil's paintings.
