Marina Solé

Hi, I am Marina Solé, Mixed media artist.

​I am from Barcelona living in San Francisco since 2011.
​What started as a small series of tiny "collages" has evolved into a personal collection of art pieces which I store all around the house like an intimate petit museum to inspire my daily life, in my evolving art process journey. The roots of each piece come from the spirit of nature, old memories, and dAdA art/surrealism, visually shaped in illustrations, oil paintings, collages, and representational sketches.

The art I create includes faces, phrases, and places, mixed to evoke beautifully shy effortless nostalgia.
Having a passion for what I do is my way of meditation to achieve a neutral state of contentment. The art process drives me to seek innovative ideas, or else revive forgotten ones both pure and sensitive, bringing the colorful ironies of life to the surface.

I am a Catalan female from Barcelona, an artist and fashion designer based in San Francisco, CA.

Graduated in 2017 with MFA in Fashion Merchandising from the Academy of Art University, San Francisco, CA


Graduated in 2009 with Bachelor's Fashion Design in La Llotja Art School, Barcelona, Spain.

Graduated in 2004 with a Baccalaureate in Arts (High School) from Escola d'Arts Ondara, Tarrega, Spain.
