David Skvorsow

My art includes a range of mediums, such as digital art, painting, sculpture, and clothing design. I like to create dynamic human figures that exude power and strength, abstract forms reminiscent of sacred objects and close-up faces that show strong emotions. I like my characters to be menacing and dangerous, yet mysterious, stuck between good and evil with no clear allegiance. They embody a paradox of fearlessness and vulnerability, with both darkness and light existing within them.
I draw inspiration from the people and objects around me, transforming their appearance and inner qualities in ways that make them unrecognizable. By exaggerating and magnifying the qualities of my subjects, I create striking contrasts that make a significant impact. I'm particularly fond of nuances and details, which allow for a deeper exploration of my artistic themes.
As someone with a background in graffiti and graphic design, I'm well-versed in using text to convey meaning and directly communicate with my audience. I believe that even clear messages should leave room for interpretation, inviting the viewer to bring their own experiences and perspectives to the artwork.
