I search and produce works which join classical qualities and features, typical of the renaissance -baroque heritage with very strong scenic and costume accent. Everything is recreated with mixed media ranging from the 17th century context to a totally contemporary painting.
If I find that a system is not apt to what I want to express I search
and create its natural prosecution, so as to suit best my needs.
Taking possession of the artistic language of the past has allowed me to enrich my contemporary works of a huge cultural baggage, of a vaste figurative archive to translate , to launch into an imagined future and a future to be imagined, in which no accent can be losed.
On the contrary, everyting can be used to create new visionary travels.
The knowledge of the lives and the works of the ancient masters, have taught me that there is always a method to discover and always something to gain.
If a method is not useful enough to express myself and what i want to communicate, I search for and create its natural prosecution. So that it may be more adapt to my need.

I began from the production of traditional classical works. Going on, aiming at increasing my knowledge, I started a freer research in the painting field, I produced canvas and works using the ancient techniques and anatomical drawings in the style of the great master of the past (from Leonardo to Michelangelo, ecc) also studying the 18th century and its very scenographic imprinting.
