Eileen Ly

Eileen was born and lives in London.

She is a self-taught portrait artist working primarily in charcoal and pastel.

Eileen is inspired by the idea that whether it be a silent pain or a cry of triumph; eyes (and faces!) are truly windows to the soul.

She is especially drawn to everyday tragedies, our ability to endure such events and how we will often reveal those experiences in our expressions. Art has the power to express what words cannot
