- STATEMENT-
My job is in series essentially is a visual development of relations meeting between shape, color, line and emotion, within a specific field, seeking to build something out of nothing and sometimes symbols and images me reveal spontaneously. My challenge is its weight and balance. This halfway between abstraction and figuration. I do not analyze not conceptualize, build and destroy rather to unravel a portrait of the moment. Is the language I use to express my heart, I find difficult words. I paint in the paint layer upon layer, letting it happen and flow; in printmaking and especially lately in the monotypes, once scattered inks, I am interested in exploring the accident that occurs to them literally explode under the pressure of the press; it is time to time, up to capture all the right moments on paper or fabric. I hope to give my work a presence that grip, instead of releasing the viewer, after giving a look.
