Ricardo Miranda

My obsession for drawing has encompassed me into a spiritual journey. I like to observe the world and things around me, and I feel compelled to draw what I observe. As I draw, I begin to increasingly understand my subject; every muscle, wrinkle, or gesture has an immense potential for expression. Being able to understand that makes it a lot easier to communicate with people. My works are created with an intention to inspire, empathize, and connect. I want to break social norms and shatter conventions about social interaction in order to promote solidarity and compassion for one another.
