I'm Liliana Georgeta Barna, a passionate painter inspired by the beauty of the world and deep inner emotions. My bold, abstract style uses vibrant colors and expressive forms to reflect personal experiences and introspection.

My creative journey began with a deep and constant joy for drawing in pencil, ink, and charcoal. Through graphic expression, I explored fundamental questions about the world, life, and identity. Over time, I started to introduce color into my works, and my creations came to life through vibrant tempera and chalk. Later, I transitioned to oil painting, creating landscapes inspired by places such as Sibiu, winter scenes, and Greece.

As I evolved as an artist, I naturally felt drawn to abstract art, which I embraced as a new language of expression. This transition gave me the opportunity to distill the essence of beauty and emotion into simple yet powerful brushstrokes of color, capturing the charm and complexity of my subjects with refined simplicity.

My journey as an artist is a testament to the timeless nature of creativity. I am a Romanian artist who has passionately followed her calling for painting, finding inspiration both in the beauty of the world around me and in the emotions within. My style, defined by abstract forms and bold colors, reflects a unique perspective shaped by years of personal experience and observation.

I am pleased to announce my participation in the group exhibition “At the Museum”, taking place from July 14 to August 9, 2025, at the Romanian Literature Museum.

I am also honored to take part in the collective exhibition organized at the Romanian Senate, held between November 12 and 30, 2025, an event presented by the Art Archive.
