Aiza Amin

I'm Aiza, a visual artist and fine arts lecturer. I love working with Arabic and Urdu calligraphy, using different materials and styles to create my art. With every stroke, I explore the beauty and meaning of these languages. As a teacher and an artist, I share my passion for calligraphy, hoping to inspire others to appreciate its richness and cultural significance.

Recently, after completing my Bachelor's degree following my intermediate and matriculation, I discovered my passion for calligraphy. Throughout my studies, I became captivated by the beauty and depth of Arabic and Urdu calligraphy. Alongside my academic pursuits, I also undertook diplomas to enhance my skills in visual arts and graphic design. Now, armed with my Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree, I am committed to exploring and sharing the artistry of calligraphy with others.

My journey as an artist reached new heights when my artwork was selected for exhibition at the renowned Alhamra All Pakistan Exhibition. It was a moment of immense pride to see my creations displayed alongside those of talented artists from across the country. Building on this success, I had the opportunity to present my thesis show at Alhamra Art Gallery, where I showcased the culmination of my artistic exploration and growth. Additionally, I've been honored to participate in group exhibitions at esteemed venues such as the Coopera Art Gallery in Lahore and the Rangraiz Art Gallery, where my work has been celebrated and appreciated by diverse audiences.
