Ana Bernstein

Born in Rio de Janeiro.
I am a self-taught photographer focusing on street photography and fine art. I divide my time between Rio de Janeiro and New York City, my second home.


My work takes the form of visual essays structured around a concept, a place, or my newest object of interest. Some essays privilege the subject matter, as is the case of the work done within the genre of street photography, others are poetic experimentations with photographic language, exploring light, color, time, and the materiality of the photograph itself.
