Andrés Rueda

Andrés Rueda nace en España en 1956. Se considera ciudadano del mundo .Desde muy joven se siente profundamente atraído por la pintura impresionista y, desde pintor en las calles, se va abriendo camino hasta exponer en galerías como Galería Hanson (California), Galerie Lauswolf (Holanda), Hanson Gallery (Estados Unidos), Eboli (Madrid), Sala Braulio (Castellón), etc... Hasta llegar a una dimensión de ser reconocido como uno de los mejores pintores impresionistas de nuestra época. Su obra se encuentra distribuída por España, Alemania, Argentina, Francia, Luxemburgo y Londres entre grandes coleccionistas de arte.


Cuando Renoir llegó a decir que el objeto de un cuadro consistía simplemente en decorar una pared y por eso era importante que los colores fueran importantes por sí mismos, no era sino el reconocimiento del carácter marcadamente hedonista de la pintura impresionista.
No era sino encender el pincel en el lienzo de tantos ilustres pintores que nos han dado desde entonces la historia del arte y que emerge hasta nuestros días, llevado con una fidelaidad exquisita por Rueda.

André’s art is like plunging oneself into the palette, a deep dive into the paint. In his impressionist style, that impression starts with each splash, with each tidbit of paint and with each detail, every element congregates to give us a landscape filled with energy. His brushstrokes seem rushed, but a more attentive look can perceive that they are meticulously calculated, only conveying the quintessential and reflecting the purity and “simplicity” of nature, in a unique and contagious atmosphere.

André, through the paint’s plasticity, reveal us landscapes filled with colour and emotion. The elusive contours make the painting’s main structure shift between the figurative and the abstract colour patterns. This combination made of layers, impastos and pigments, concatenated under an “instantaneous brushstroke”, is able to capture a moment that has external and internal traits. His paint seems to be as alive as nature itself, thus extending his presence and movement to the point where it goes beyond the painting’s boundaries and drips into impastos that have the everlasting energy of springtime.
