I have loved and practiced art since I can remember. I am highly passionate about what qualifies as good or bad art in all aspects of life.
My chosen form is the realm of two dimensions. 2D is the closest representation I can find to sight/thought. It is an illusion and so to is the mind.
I believe that certain icons can carry a deeper meaning than others in a personal and general way. I also believe that some things just look good for no reason at all.
I have always been a fine artist questioning what art is for me. I also trained as an illustrator which is about questioning what art is for others?. So this gives good insight into commissioned work.

I hold GCSEs in art-A and photography-A (traditional).
I hold a 2 year full time BTEC National Diploma in General Art and Design from Portsmouth Art College. This covered ceramics, print making, fashion and textiles, 3D design, fine art, illustration, graphic design and photography, with my last semester specializing in Illustration.
And I also hold a 3 year full time BA in Illustration from Portsmouth Art College/University, graduating 1999.
