Australian abstractionist painter, Joanna Wolthuizen, is a leading figure in contemporary art and one of Australia's boldest colourists.

Wolthuizen's large-scale, hard-edged abstract compositions possess a deeply considered understanding of space, perception, and the interplay of colour. Her canvases vibrate with color and curvature, combining vibrant planes of hard-edged hues with layered line perspectives to create visually stunning compositions that enrich environments and spark profound contemplation.

Wolthuizen was listed in Australia's Top 10 Artists to Watch for both 2023 and 2024, and in Australia's Most Popular Artists in 2024.

Joanna Wolthuizen has exhibited in 27 national award exhibitions and has been a four times finalist in the prestigious Paddington Art Prize.
