Self-taught artist Lori Pratico began painting billboards in Philadelphia at the age of eighteen and has remained a working artist for over thirty-five years. She has painted in multi-million-dollar homes, had YoYo Ma visit her studio, been published in Marie Claire, Juxtapoz and Professional Artist magazines, and created over 100 murals in 16 states.
Lori is the founder of the non-profit Girl Noticed, Inc which partners with organizations across the country to create murals and art experiences that celebrate and empower girls and women in their communities. She is Program Assistant for Business for the Arts of Broward served for three years on Fort Lauderdale’s Public Art and Design Committee, and is on the board of Wilton Art, in Wilton Manors, Florida. Lori is a published author and speaker and has defied the odds by breaking the barriers that society placed in front of her as a LGBTQ+ female, and as an artist.
