Lucy Storrs

My work is created in a painterly manner taking full inspiration of paint. Yet my medium I choose to use is wool as it has an extraordinary vibrant quality and depth to it that no other medium can quite touch upon.

I create both aerial artworks and abstracts because I find this is the closest I can get to representing and expressing the full aspects of myself.

One part of myself is hugely mesmerised by the planet that we live on which I find both fasinating and awe inspring. I care deeply about the planet and the part that us humans play in it.

The abstract work represents more of my inner world. I revel in the process and the unfolding moment, also the journey that art takes me on. I love the minimal and pureness of things but also life filled wth vivd and bold emotions.


I exhibit widely and my work is held in private collections around the world.
