Raul Albanece (Gualeguaychu, Entre Rios, Argentina, 1969) is a visual artist, stage designer, educator, and researcher. Since 1991, his artistic practice has spanned collage, artist books, stage and costume design, painting, drawing, and printmaking. His work delves into themes such as identity, transformation, memory, time, and the tension between the ephemeral and the enduring. He holds a degree in Scenography from Universidad del Salvador (Buenos Aires) and a Higher Education Teaching Degree in Scenography from Universidad de Concepcion del Uruguay (Gualeguaychu). He is currently completing his thesis for a Master’s Degree in Theatre with a specialization in Scenic Design. His artworks have been exhibited in Argentina, Uruguay, Chile, Brazil, Peru, Colombia, Mexico, the USA, Spain, France, and Greece. Notable solo exhibitions include La letra con sangre entra, Metaforas de la vida misma, Como Dédalo ingenioso, and Klon. Deeply committed to artistic education, he teaches at universities, in-person workshops, and online platforms. He has illustrated three books and published two eBooks focused on creativity and the professional development of emerging artists.
