Always a student of the visual arts, Erik received his B.F.A. in 2001 from the Art Academy of Cincinnati & his M.F.A. from Massachusetts College of Art & Design in 2017. He has worked for advertising agencies, graphic design firms as well as more traditional art related companies like exhibit/scene shops and even stain glass studios. Using a strong formal background in drawing, printmaking and painting, Erik has a unique understanding of contemporary art practices, notable experience and skills, not to mention a well rounded tool chest. He even worked at Fort Knox and had SECRET Security clearance... but details about that are on a strict “need to know” basis.
