Rob Henderson

Australian born, Rob Henderson's earliest experience in the photographic industry began as a magazine art director in Sydney before moving to Europe as an art director for Collett Dickenson & Pearce Advertising, first in London, later in West Germany where he remained for four years trying to grasp Hochdeutsche, f-stops and Fräuleins for fotos. The following eight years were spent as a London based freelance photographer doing travel assignments for the London Times newspaper, ad agencies in London, Paris, Milan, Düsseldorf, Hamburg and Frankfurt, before returning to Sydney, where he shoots mostly situations involving people for local and international markets plus the occasional underwater assignment.
Working in film and advertising has provided him with broad travel and experience, combined with a strong visual and design sense which is evidenced in his personal work.
Rob has picked up various awards in London’s D&AD, New York, German Art Directors Club, Fuji Awards, Australia’s Folio and AWARD. He is also available for commissions.
