Shawnee Kilgore

i am a singer/songwriter from the pacific northwest who recently found herself falling in love in austin, texas. and now comes the rest of my life ;) i create because i have to, because it's breath, because it's life. i've been playing a long time, and have settled on knowing i am simply a work in progress. that's never going to end. nor would i want it to. i have more recently discovered photography.....and a whole new channel of joy. with photography i don't really have to deal with ego at all. i simply push a button, and all that means is that i was there to witness something. and it's captured, and it's beautiful and it will last until, well, it disappears. it's different than a song in that way for sure. both feed me, both are miracles.
