Born far far away in a world that doesn't exist anymore. Too late for the stylish 50s, just in time for power shoulderpads. Educated as an Architect, UK citizen since 1996 when came to UK. Self-taught, although studied arts as part of my degree. I take interest in people and am inspired by that very special chaos, eccentricities and peculiarities of everyday life that often go unnoticed. Not everything ( if anything) in life as it seem at first. It takes a second look and attention to even minute details to understand and form an educated opinion. Look carefully, pay some attention- a picture really is worth a thousand words.I am not interested in creating just "something" in a frame. I want to make you stop and think.
My subjects are influenced by personal experiences. I dont copy anyone and even my own work- each piece is a one- off and can never be replicated. I paint different subjects and work in different styles- from realistic to abstract. Latest direction is artdeco and mid century, or a mix of both.

Painting professionally since 1999. 4 of my works had been bought by BBC for their 2019 drama "Guilt". My artwork also been used on "Annika". Images also appeared on Grand Design. 2 of my works are now in Lady Wakefield and Sir Humphry's of Chillingham Castle, Northumberland,
collection, following a 4 man show at the castle in Sept 2022. There had been a number of articles concerning my work in local and national press (The Herald, Evening Times, Home and Interiors, Uptown, Style, Living, Grand Designs, The 1, etc) and on channel 4' "Grand Design". Since 1999 have been continiuosly exhibiting at a number of charities such as Macmillans Cancer Relief, Age Concern, Marie Curie, Save the Children, The Order Of St.John Scotland, Children's First, Booby Birds Cancer Relief, The Hansel Foundation, Preshal Trust, University of Glasgow Cancer Relief and CHAS, etc.
