My creative endeavors span various art forms. As a visual artist, poet, chef, curator, and native of Detroit, my diverse background and experiences have shaped my voice. Additionally, my passion for yoga and swimming further fuels my artistic vision. Daily meditation keeps me centered.
Over the years, I have created intricate assemblages, developed site-specific installations, and presented provocative performance pieces. My current focus lies in the creation of mixed-media collages that radiate beauty and joy, accompanied by surrealist poetry that complements the visual narratives.
I have been recognized and celebrated through numerous exhibitions held at esteemed museums, public spaces, and galleries across the Southeast. My works have found homes in prominent public and private spaces throughout the United States, including notable institutions and collections such as The US Bank, The Harvey B. Gantt Center for African American Culture in Charlotte, NC, Davidson College in Davidson, NC, and the bell hooks estate. My art has also captivated audiences Internationally, finding a place in collections such as the Simon De Banya estate in the UK, as well as Issey Miyake Studios and Commes des Garcons in Tokyo, Japan.
