On a geometric landscape, images, forms that move, nestle and interact. not literary but a narrative may evolve... As in a novel, characters determine their own life. Any kind of potent form. Color is a big deal, style and manner not the issue, but vitality.
Susan Elias's paintings have been exhibited in many solo and group shows in the USA, Europe, Costa Rica, and London. Elias received her MA from Columbia University. Her grants include the Tiffany Award, the Pollock Krasner Foundation Grant, a fellowship for the Cite Des Arts in Paris, Yaddo fellowships and Visiting Artist residencies at the American Academy in Rome.
