Christian Camilo is a Brazilian photographer and visual artist whose work blends classical influences with modern experimentation. Inspired by masters like Ansel Adams and Josef Sudek, his photography is marked by clean compositions and a refined use of light and shadow. Using a full-spectrum digital camera, he explores hidden wavelengths and reimagines the visible world.
He is the author of São Paulo in Infrared (Sampa in Infrared), published internationally by Latouche De L’Art. The book features infrared images of São Paulo’s iconic landmarks, captured with a modified camera that reveals the city's colors in a vivid and surreal way, uncovering its hidden beauty.
His prints are made in Brazil on Hahnemühle Canvas Art Smooth using HP Z9+ DreamColor with archival HP VIVERA mineral pigments. All works are signed, numbered, and printed on museum-grade paper.
