Chris White

I'm a self taught artist. I began painting at 40, when I started having visions of completed paintings. I was obsessed with these visions and felt compelled to figure out how to make them. Initially I worked on panels that I made and with mediums that were familiar to me (house paint, resin, ink). Eventually I started taking some workshops with artists I greatly admire and my own work began to change and mature. I am currently working with acrylic on canvas and playing with spray paint and mark making, which is a lot of fun. I live in Austin Texas with my mini Goldendoodle Sookienanda.

2019 - I was thrilled and so grateful to be selected to exhibit at The Other Art Fair in Dallas in September. What a wonderful art event! I hope to show at more Other Art Fairs
