Davide Carrozzo

I was born in 1974 in Legnano (MI).

My pictorial work reveals my past studies at the Politecnico di Milano. The continuous and careful exercise of design and survey of places the city has influenced my thematic interest in the building and its interiors.
In my paintings I want to build and shape landscapes and architectures empty, silent, minimalists who, by concrete and tangible, they become imaginary, symbolic. A space with the transfiguration the aspiration to bring out not the places to live, but those
places of which the human being is inhabited and where we find her anxieties, his fears and his insecurities. I am interested the exploration of these places / interior spaces, to get to the states of mind that human life generates.
In some works, the buildings, even though represented in the place where arise, with bold foreshortening following thought processes that suffer from the perspective refunds design, they seem really out of context. This to induce the viewer to focus their attention on their image you want to convey the deep meaning of that inner landscape that is the main theme of my story and of my research.
