Gotza Gotza

Gotza Gotza is an artist who finds inspiration in the nature, the sea, and spirituality. She creates abstract paintings that express beauty, power, and mystery, as well as realistic paintings of sea surfaces, based on her own photographs.She is an artist who creates artworks that evoke emotions and feelings, that transport the viewer to a different place, and that make a connection with nature, the sea and spirituality.

She has always been captivated by the sea and its ever-changing moods, from the calm and serene to the wild and tumultuous. She has a deep connection to the sea and finds inspiration in its vastness, depth, and beauty and enjoys spending time by the sea in Barcelona where she lives. She creates two types of paintings.

The realistic sea surfaces, creating detailed and accurate paintings based on her own photographs of the sea. Her paintings capture the beauty and movement of the sea, and the viewer can almost feel the wind and smell the sea.

She completed her Ph.D. in Arts in 2018, and undergraduate and graduate studies in painting in 2005 and 2009, at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade.
