Farras Abdelnour

A New York-based freelance photographer specializing in fine arts and documentaries, I was born in Germany to Syrian parents. In July 2017 I finished the graduate program in digital photography at the School of Visual Arts, New York. I have a PhD in electrical engineering and pursued research on computational neuroscience. My photos have been widely exhibited in various venues in New York City, Santa Fe, Paris, and elsewhere. My fine art work explores the serenity of sparsity and absence of clutter; be it visual, acoustic, or mental.
