Gabriel Prundeanu

Gabriel Prundeanu is a professional artist. He began his studies at Marin Sorescu Art School, continued at the Bucharest National University of Arts, specializing in Graphics. Since 1997 he has been a member of the Union of Fine Artists. He proposes a special aesthetic experience. His work belong to abstract art, both in terms of technique and means of expression and materials used, color and form.

''Gabriel Prundeanu is a painter of the senses, his works incite feelings, emotions, moods. His painting is not representative or derivative of anything. It is purely abstract.The artist likes to emphasizethe divisions between forms not just with thick splashes of color or lines, but also by abruptly changing the direction of his strokes, and utilizing and controlling values, tones, and edges. Prundeanu’s abstract artrequires the viewers to have an open, inquiring mind –the public must enter the painting and feel its energy, emotions and textures.
