Science and medicine inform my practice.
Over the past year I have been exploring connections and physicality. Inspired by the baroque period, drapery, and the writing of Deleuze on ‘The fold’ (as a marker of the physical and spiritual world), I have used the knot tied in on itself as a metaphor for interpersonal connections and mental health.
I have also looked at connections as the very bases of evolution, of life.
