Jean Lurssen

Jean is a mixed media artist. Her creative process is as organic as the subjects she portrays. She typically begins without a premeditated idea, allowing the interplay of a thoughtfully chosen limited palette to guide her artistic journey. This intuitive method aligns with her preference for minimalist, calming compositions and earthy hues.

One of her paintings was selected for the inside cover of a book of Lord Tennyson's poems, published by the prestigious Italian publisher, Mondadori. She remains committed to the continuous evolution of her technique, driven by an ethos of trial and error, a testament to her dedication to her craft.
