John Williams

I was born in London UK, but have spent the last 20yrs, living on the tropical island of Koh Phangan. My art has always been a celebration of life & nature, from art school, to the present. They are about what I see, and feel. They are about the human condition, and our interaction with nature. They are about love, form & expression. I am on a journey to find expression, through the convention of art. I have a strong link to western art, taking a circuitous, route, from early art, classicism, modernism & on to contemporary art. I reference, and draw from these influences, but also I breathe in the culture of SE Asia, in all it’s forms, and from my rich, eventful life. I wish to communicate through my work. I hope you understand.
