Jonny Kaye

A mixed multi-media artist working in film, photography and painting.

Based in Brighton, UK. My photography work has been published internationally in many magazines including RAIN Magazine, Notion and Dazed.

I primarily document sub cultures through photography/Film. Inspired by Andy Warhol I use the images I've collected to create artworks using silk screen techniques using acrylic and canvas. Sometimes more than often I then add to these using forms of abstract painting techniques inspired by Pollock, Basquit, Paul Mc Carthy and Oscar Murillo

My career has evolved from modelling for high end fashion brands to photography/film and now painting.

In my paintings you will find many different mediums including acrylics, high quality oil, charcoal, graphite all which are used on High quality cotton duck canvas.

I'm completely self taught. My knowledge has come from working with professionals, various short courses and through networking with people in relevant industries.
