Katia Bulbenko

I live and work in Weehawken, NJ, a small town on the Hudson River. A lifelong artist, I studied at Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia and Rome, Italy. Inspired by nature, landscapes and erosion, I love organic shapes and work intuitively and experimentally, driven by the possibilities in combinations of shapes, textures, colors and materials. My experiences in textile design and printmaking inform my process, showing up in the pattern, layering and composition of the work.
