Much of my artwork is created from direct observation. Other times I prefer a slower pace with the limitless possibilities of working from imagination. With a life model the time constraint fosters urgency and intuitive responses. The most satisfying images are those in which discoveries beyond my intention are realized, where I find myself surprised or slightly bewildered.
