I had my first artistic experiences with music and sounds. So began a 20-year activity as a musician on drums, percussion and singing bowls. I have been creating sounds on canvas since 2004. I wanted to explore new terrain and I'm still at it. Since 2005 close artistic collaboration with my life and artist partner Kerstin Franz -art-franz.de - with many joint "solo exhibitions" as an artist couple.
Since 2017 studio and exhibition rooms in our house in Freigericht-Bernbach.
Oct. 2020 Receipt of one of the project grants - "Hesse innovatively reopening" which I implemented in 2021-22 with the "New Impulses" series of images.
The focus of my painting is the implementation of sound in colors and forms, capturing sounds in structure, geometry and color design. Furthermore, various topics such as signs, symbols, crop circles, insectograms, meditation and light inspire me. This creates sound images in metal colors on an acrylic basis. With my works I want to harmonize, calm down, bring harmony and positively influence people and rooms.

My works are in private and corporate ownership as well as in the following Permanent collections / public collections.
