Laurie Larson

Laurie Larson was born in Kalispell, Montana in the "Summer of Love". She grew up in northern Idaho, South Dakota, Colorado and New Mexico. The immense beauty of the western landscapes she lived in has inspired her many works of art. Her art and photography has appeared in Astronomy Magazine, Crossroads Magazine, Billboard Magazine, Conceptions Southwest, the News Gallery and many other publications. Her work also appears in many traditional galleries in Arizona and New Mexico. Her murals grace many buildings around the Albuquerque area and her photography has appeared on CNN, ABC, CBS & NBC. She has also published four books featuring her art and photography. She has worked at Kitt Peak Observatory in southern Arizona and explores our place in the universe in every piece. She believes music, art and photography have the power to take us to fantastic places we never dreamed we could visit.

Laurie studied painting, astronomy, math and music at the University of New Mexico
