Marcin Filipowicz

Film director, traveller and photographer. Born in Cracow, Poland in november 1985. He graduated from Krzysztof KieÅ›lowski Radio and Television Faculty (film directing) and Wajda School (documentary film). Author of two documentaries "7109 km" (2009) and "My father Lazaro" (2011) and one short feature film "Echo" (2012). He won many awards for his short films including Best Polish Short Feature Film for "Echo" at T-Mobile New Horizons in WrocÅ‚aw, Poland (2012).

He is currently finishing his diploma feature short film "Summer of love" and documentary "Young footballers".

Owner or production company Skrawki Film. Author of few fashion commercials made in London and San Francisco.

Author of few documentary photo series. He exhibited his project "Talking Shoes" in prestigious "Pauza" Gallery in Cracow. The youngest polish photographer invited to "Plat(t)form" organised by PhotoMuseum in Winterthur. In 2013 together with his friend, Marcin created a photo collective GummoPhotos, to promote and sell most interesting polish young photography.

2011 – 6th International Student Film Camp “Interaction 2011” in Pozega (Serbia).
