Marija Kovacevic

My approach in art is eclectic as I have worked with a wide variety of mediums and materials - from acrylic and oil, to foam, textiles and found objects. Currently I'm developing a painting technique that is entirely non-toxic and based on simple plant ingredients.
Although I have studied at the department of painting, I've ended up with reliefs and installations being the most of my major works.
I enjoy experimenting with textures and making art a tactile experience for both myself and the observer.
As of December 2019, my portfolio includes modern embroidery.
