As a book lover and passionate reader, I couldn’t go far from the language and the writing to start searching for my personal one. Therefore my artistic research has begun looking at the oriental calligraphy, in particular, the connection between the aesthetic and the gesture, almost as an act of love.

Artists such as Cy Twombly, Eugenio Miccini, the artists of the Fluxus group, just to name few, have represented a point of reference to study and decompose the standard meaning of the writing/reading.

The word that conceals the meaning and the calligraphy that becomes meaning and image. Writing to be seen or an image to be read. The word associated with manual elements as an automatic gesture that searches for a sign and a signifier. The arm becomes an extension of the mind and of the language. The language is explained through automatic and hypnotic gestures. Poetry that searches for the expressive power of the word, of the language and of their content.
