I thank God I can create art, it is a blessing to me. I really enjoy color I grew up before the internet last century in a black and white world. When I first saw comics they really popped. I live in Cairns in Far North Queensland, I sign my name Mark Daniel because no one can pronounce McLaughlin.
I create urban pop art that is expressionist. I am inspired by cartoons and the characters in them. These characters include dancers, musicians, the Minotaur, warriors and Gospel Jesus.
I attended Cairns Tafe colleges, to learn basic art skills, but am otherwise self taught
