I pay very, very close attention to detail. My experiences dominated by hardline and craft have steadily morphed into a strictly 2-dimensional undertaking using pastel, charcoal and other dry media. Each piece is a quest to define the quality of essential gesture, form, light, shadow and nuance, balancing acute observation with an air of imprecision unique to the pastel medium.
